Top 5 Songs I’m Loving This Month

Music has always been a huge part of how I process life, and this month’s lineup is kind of all over the place in the best way. These songs are moody, a little nostalgic, and all have that cinematic, main-character energy that makes me feel like I’m walking through a movie scene — whether I’m driving at night, walking to class, or zoning out with my headphones on. I love when music fits the moment, and these tracks are definitely the mood for April.

“Silver Springs” by Fleetwood Mac has been wrecking me in the most beautiful way — the emotion in that song is unreal. Santigold’s “Disparate Youth” gives me this rebellious, freedom-filled feeling I can’t get enough of. “Love” by The Something Specials is softer but honest — like a little love letter hidden in a song. Then there’s “Song For Lovers” by Bachelors of Science, which has that dreamy, lo-fi drum & bass vibe that makes time feel slower in the best way. And finally, “Eyes Without A Face” by Billy Idol — haunting, cool, and still so iconic. These five songs are living rent-free in my brain right now, and I’m not mad about it.

    Music Video of the Month

I added the video for Eyes Without a Face because sometimes a music video just completes the experience. There’s something about pairing visuals with sound that locks the vibe in place—it hits harder, sticks longer. This one especially feels like stepping into a weird, dreamy world, and I love that about it.

The White Lotus: Vacation Vibes with a Dark Twist

    Month of April

Lately, I’ve been completely hooked on The White Lotus, streaming on Max. Each season takes place at a luxurious resort in a totally different (and insanely beautiful) location — think ocean views, infinity pools, and high-end chaos. But don’t let the dreamy aesthetics fool you — under all the sunshine and Aperol spritzes is a slow-burning mystery that keeps you guessing from the very first episode. Every season kicks off with the same setup: someone dies. But you don’t know who, how, or why until the very end… and it’s SO fun trying to piece it all together.

What makes this show so addicting isn’t just the mystery — it’s the vibes. The soundtrack, the visuals, the rich-people drama, and the way tension builds so quietly you almost miss it… it’s all so well done. It’s not a loud thriller — it’s more like a slow, slightly eerie unraveling that happens while everyone pretends to be on a perfect vacation. Whether you’re into character-driven stories, subtle dark comedy, or just want a new show that feels different, The White Lotus is 100% worth watching.
